Monark LC6 is a smart ergometer, that communicates either wirelessly or via cable. Choose to communicate with your ergometer through BLE, ANT+ or USB-B.
Regardless your LC6 will give you the accuracy and the real bike feel, that the Monark ergometers are known for. The robust frame together with the heavy flywheel creates an unbelievable bike feel.

Equipped with the Novo Duo control system which guaranties a very fast and accurate adjustment of the resistance, the resistance can either be RPM dependent or RPM independent.
LC6 can be used as stand-alone ergometer or be controlled by an external system like a metabolic cart or a computer. The pendulum system provides you with Monark’s unmatched calibrations which guarantees accurate and reliable data.

CONNECTION MODE:

  • Simulation mode
    • The application sends information about a simulated environment that determines the resistance of the ergometer. The resistance (a certain kilopond) for example with Zwift means the slope of the road in combination with “virtual gears”.
  • ERG-mode
    • The application sends information about the effect of the ergometer the application regulates against. This can be called “Workout mode” in some applications.
  • Resistance mode
    • The application sends information about which resistance level the bike should hold. Resistance level is 0-100% where Monark translates it to 0-7 kilopond (kp).
  • Manual mode
    • No application controls the bike, but applications can still listen to the ergometer power and cadence, to e.g. display a certain speed on the screen.
  • NOTE:
    • Applications such as Zwift work with both BLE and ANT + in both ERG-mode and simulation mode.
