A stable arm ergometer for both submax Vo2 tests and upper body anaerobic tests (optional). The ergometer has a precise load due to the patented weight basket system. A large balanced flywheel provides smooth action even at heavy loads. The stand is height adjustable for optimal settings during tests and exercise.
The weight basket is a patented self-regulating braking system which doesn't need calibration. As long as the basket is in the air and the weights are correct the brake force is correct. The mechanics of the weight basket has been improved which will increase the safety of the releasing moment. Delivered with a set of weights; three 1 kg, one 0.5 kg and four 0.1 kg. The weight of the basket is 0.1 kg. More weights can be purchased separately.

A global reference for anaerobic testing. Monark 894 is developed for short-duration, high-intensity tests where timing, control and measurement accuracy matter. Resistance is applied instantly using Monark’s patented weight basket system and pre-calibrated weights – ensuring transparent, consistent and repeatable results. Using the Windows based software, different settings for how the weight basket will drop can be programmed such as designated RPMs for example. Online transfer of data for analysis, together with fast electronics and good mechanical construction, reduce the risk of problems during anaerobic tests. 894 is a precision ergometer tailored for anaerobic power tests such as Wingate and sprint profiling. Resistance is applied instantly through calibrated weights, ensuring visible and verifiable values for every test. Built on the LC frame, 894 allows quick and accurate adjustments to both saddle and handlebar. This guarantees an ergonomic and stable setup during max-effort protocols. It integrates with Monark Anaerobic Test Software to configure test duration, control the weight drop manually or automatically, and analyze fatigue across multiple test bouts. All values are based on physics with full transparency making the results consistent and easy to trust. -
Wallbar table which hangs off bars attached to the wall. Designed for hand crank ergometers such as the 881E and 871E so that they may be placed at the correct height for the user.
